Early Life
Childhood 1.1 Weston was born to a New York City fireman Ethan Weston and stay at home mom Maria Fernandez (who worked as an extra in the late 1980’s). His parents divorced when he was around five years of age, and he was moved to LA where he stayed until college. He worked in mostly school theater productions from a very young age, staring in various plays throughout his school career. Marked as being an above average student in the humanities, he was able to gain a scholarship to an arts school in LA city. At age seven, his mother remarried and it is assumed the step father began to pay Weston’s tuition in full. He was accepted and attended NYU in order to get a full education in acting, as well to reconnect with his father, Ethan William Weston. top

Teachers at college marked Weston as being a strong student, and he began to work both behind the scenes and on stage in school productions, including Oliver, South Pacific, Pygmalion and The Lion in Winter. During the earlier stages of college, Weston’s father committed suicide by shooting himself with a small hand gun (allegedly after having lunch with Weston on NYU’s campus, not confirmed). The death of his father shook Milo Weston, and Weston admits that this is when he began to binge drink and drink alone. Before his senior year was completed, he went dry and has reportedly not drank since college finished. Weston moved back to LA after completing college and began to work in 2002. top
Adulthood and Scandal
Milo Weston began his on screen acting career in 2002 as an extra in the second Star Wars movie, as well as a bit part in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as an unnamed character. Weston worked part time as a server in several of LA’s upper class restaurants while looking for work, and finally was able to start working as an actor full time in 2005 after working on the film Constantine where he played Constantine’s over eager side kick. His big break came in 2006 however, with the film Ella Enchanted where he played the Prince Charming named Char. A hit with teens and moms, he soon gained more favor for playing Mr. Bingley in the newest version of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. While early critics claim that Milo Weston was to green for the roll, this did not seem to affect the box office, nor reviews. Weston gave a candid interview to Entertainment Weekly in 2007, admitting to his alcohol abuse, plans to play a gay man (Jack Lira, one of Harvey Milk’s boyfriends) in Milk, and his own bisexuality. Weston also said he owns a cocker spaniel named Daisy. The magazine has since dubbed Milo Weston ‘The Prince of Historical Flicks’ on his work on many movies based in literature and historical events. Milo Weston in noted for doing charity work related to children (the Make A Wish foundation in particular) as well as doing ads and funding programs to spread alcohol abuse awareness. He owns a home in Santa Barbara, CA as well as an apartment in LA, and is allegedly not dating anyone. top
